Long Term Capital Gain is made taxable @ 10% w.e.f 1st April 2018

As proposed in budget 2018, w.e.f. 01-04-2018 Long term capital gains (from equity or units of MF) exceeding Rs. 1 lakh shall be taxed at the rate of 10% without allowing the benefit of any indexation. However, all gains up to 31st January, 2018 will be grandfathered.
